Written by Dom Fricot, Mike Southworth and Hilary Grist in a small packed hatchback on a ukulele in 2014. "Echoes" is the lead track off Fricot's forthcoming record DESERTS.
Making beats with menial beat box skills, a loop station and focusing primarily on the warm tones of his Fender Rhodes keyboard, Fricot has woven an album that hearkens back to the Post Genesis stylings of Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins.
Echoes is a track about fond memories of childhood while simultaneously longing for times that are no longer within physical reach.

Echoes
by Dom Fricot, Mike Southworth and Hilary Grist
In another time from another point of view
Only you and I in the endless light of June
And the echoes (echoes)
That ring through the valley
And the echoes (echoes)
Ring still
All I want, all I want, is to stop choosing Jamie
All I want, all i want, is to know that you're with me
On a morning drive, over to those fields we'd play
How you'd come alive, and how I'd always pray for rain
And the echoes (echoes)
That ring through the valley
And the echoes (echoes)
Ring still
All I want, all I want, is to stop choosing Jamie
All I want, all i want, is to know that you're with me
I'm gonna bring you roses, I'm gonna bring you flowers
I'm allowed to stay, I'm allowed to stay here
All I want, all I want, is to stop choosing Jamie
All I want, all i want, is to know that you're with me
