The Motto 02:40
Sunny day apology suddenly Just call the play endlessly I’m on your team Past the way hold your tongue and leave me be alone All alone We’ve been away for a long time Made our way through school There’s a lot to believe and nothing that’s really true Oh, No, do you care to explain about the motto Bravado and need to compensate Oh, I follow Or bother to explain About the motto you oughta need to compensate There’s a mountain in your mother tongue With a river to your depths And we’re permanently running from Our each and every debt We’ve been away for a long time Made our way through school There’s a lot to believe and nothing that’s really true Oh, No, do you care to explain about the motto Bravado and need to compensate Oh, I follow Or bother to explain About the motto you oughta need to compensate Just take your own advice (in the morning when you lose) Just take your own advice (when you’re wanting something new) Just take your own advice (just another truth) Just take your own advice (Keep dancing when you lose) Oh, No, do you care to explain about the motto Bravado and need to compensate Oh, I follow Or bother to explain About the motto you oughta need to compensate

7th day of the week of ups and downs Really starting to think that we should bounce I need to replace some April Flowers Cuz it’s too late for “I still love you’s” 7th day of the week and it turns out Your words are starting to sting are mispronounced I need to escape your manic powers There’s no shame in I don’t want to There’s cracks in the frame of the master’s masterpiece There’s a hole in the hand of the man who hit my teeth The sun followed rain like it always eats the pain Ambitious tendencies I’ve put lots of poison in the jar But I’ve enjoyed the day so far While you were caught in friendly fire The truth is I’m a terrible liar There’s cracks in the frame of the master’s masterpiece There’s a hole in the hand of the man who hit my teeth The sun followed rain like it always eats the pain There’s cracks in the frame of the master’s masterpiece (7th day of the week of ups and downs ) There’s a hole in the hand of the man who hit my teeth (Really starting to think that we should bounce) The sun followed rain like it always eats the pain (It’s too late, it’s too late, it’s too late) Ambitious… (For I still love you)

about

Yet another covid lockdown project coming to fruition. Two guys who worked in a bar together who started tinkering with songs really leaned into it with their DJ friend when they suddenly had a whole lot more time on their hands. Does "nihilist bedroom pop" exist yet? If not, we'd like to claim it as our own.
